Home Description

Large lakeside property in a prestigious development of 4 houses on Lake Lugano, with boat garage, boat dock, beach and direct access to the lake. It was completely renovated in 2004, with approx. 280 m² living area. Enjoy your perfect summer holiday in a beautiful corner townhouse.

The 250 m² natural stone terrace is built with Indian patio slabs and surrounded by a Japanese gravel path. It provides a striking panorama of the lake and surrounding mountains. Furthermore there is a BBQ corner with ample seating and stone built table and chairs. To the west of the property there is a secluded grass area with palm trees, providing shade and another natural stone terrace.

Porlezza is just 15 - 20 minutes drive from Lugano to the west, whose airport offers connecting flights to Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris and Rome. It is possible to commute between Porlezza to Lugano with public transportation via Como city by bus or fairy, as well as rent a vehicle and drive there.

Osteno area

The old and quiet village Osteno is situated directly at the lake of Lugano. Here you won't find big hotel complexes but only old typical houses. Without a doubt, this place belongs to the most beautiful landscapes of the northern Italian sea area. The area is partly under the protection of the 'Belle Arti' (landscape protection). Porlezza is one of the pearls of the Lombardy region (NOT Emilia Romagna). Situated on the banks of the Italian side of Lugano Lake, at the heart of the beautiful Valsolda Valley, it is a charming small place in a marvellous setting. Living in Porlezza allows you to enjoy both Italy and Switzerland at the same time. From spring throughout the autumn the surrounding mountains are green and flowers blossom all around. Hikers & cyclists are welcome to explore the flora & fauna and admire the views. Churches are scattered all over the surrounding mountains, and sun bathing is available within walking distance.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.

Notes to the rental rates

* The costs of final cleaning of the house amount to 70 Euros for one week. For reservations of 2 weeks the cleaning amounts to 90 Euros (the bed linen will be changed on Saturdays if staying 2 weeks. To make a confirmed reservation, a payment of 30% of the weekly tariff is necessary. The 70% remaining balance will then be due 20 days before your arrival date. There are no extra charges for electricity & water.
