WHO WE ARE |
|
|
We are a farm, placed in the “Campo dei Fiori” Regional Park. In 1998 we started to recover chestnut trees, planted 50 “marroni” trees and began to cultivate raspberries and blueberries. In 2002 we also restored an old building in our land, now used to put up our farm holidays guests. We have tried to maintain a peaceful place, where to rest and get in touch with local nature. The agricultural activities practiced are seasonal: during summer we pick our small fruits and make jam and honey, and during autumn we collect and select our chestnuts. All our products have a biological certificate. The only animals we have are our bees, which are settled far from the houses, and wild animals such as foxes, buzzards and squirrels that come and see us. |

WHERE WE ARE |
|
|
Our farm is placed in Orino, inside the “Campo dei Fiori” Regional Park, at 480 meters of altitude and on an extent of about 3.5 hectares. It is 10 Km far from Lake Maggiore (20 minutes by car from Laveno Mombello), 5 Km from Lake Varese (10 minutes by car from Gavirate) and 18 Km from Lugano Lake. We have a direct access to the trail “10 A Velate-Orino”, where you can go for a walk or for a ride on a mountain bike or a horse. From our place you can also easily reach Brinzio (trail 10 B) and the Orino Fort (trail 2), or the other interesting places in the nearby, such as the S. Caterina Sanctuary or Sacro Monte. |

OUR FARM HOLIDAY |

A typical house made of stones, recently restored, well furnished, and surrounded by our blueberry, raspberry and chestnuts tress. It is divided in two independent flats, which are communicating by request. |
